Biography: Pastor R.C. Hood

Elder Rory C. Hood is the pastor/teacher of the The New St. Paul C.O.G.I.C Church located in Chicago,Il. He is a true visionary and a man after God's own heart. 

At New St. Paul, he is referred to as its "Modern Day Joshua." Pastor Hood is proud to have served as an armour bearer for his late Pastor, Apostle Joseph Paul Easterling. Under Apostle Easterling's tuteluge and training Elder hood served in many capacities in the church that poised him to be the dynamic and transformative leader that he is today. He has been a Sunday School student and teacher, choir member, carpenter, deacon, minister, trustee, Associate Pastor, and now pastor of the New St. Paul Church of God In Christ. 

Elder Rory Hood became a minister and was ordained by Bishop William Haven Bonner of 6th Jurisdiction, Illinois in 1985, Became the District Evangelist of J. O. Patterson District under the leadership of Superintendent, Elder Clowdell Williams, Sr. in 1994, Appointed AIM Chariman for J.O. Patterson District in 2001, Appointed Assistance Pastor of the New St. Paul Church of God In Christ in 2002, Appointed Associate Pastor of New St. Paul Church of God In Christ in 2003,  Pastor Hood received his Bachelor's Degree from the Calvary School of Ministry in 2004, Succeeded the late Apostle Joseph Paul Easterling as Pastor of the New St. Paul Church of God In Christ in 2005, Appointed Superintendent of St. Joseph Paul Easterling District 2015.

Pastor Hood is married to the lovely, Dr. Jo L. Easterling-Hood who is his best friend and most influential person in his life. They have been blessed with three beautiful children: Matthew, Jasmine, Mark; and one grandson, Joshua. Pastor Hood is determined to continue the legacy of the late Apostle Easterling.
